Hummingbird House sits in Manchaca, close enough to Austin that your guests are not driving an hour into the country, far enough out that the property feels like it belongs to you for the night. We cover it the way we cover the rest of the Hill Country: everything arrives in one truck, gets set and sound-checked before the first guest turns down the drive, and is run by the same people who answered your first email.
Most nights here follow the same arc — an outdoor ceremony while the light is still good, cocktails while the room turns over, then dinner and a dance floor that fills once the sun is off the property. We plan the night around that arc rather than around a generic timeline: a separate ceremony system so vows are heard without a speaker stack in the aisle, background sound through cocktails and dinner, then the room reset for dancing on a cue you have already approved.

The logistics we have already solved here, so you do not have to think about them on your day.
We schedule load-in inside the venue's vendor window and stage everything in one pass — DJ rig, photo booth, karaoke, and lighting on the same truck rather than three vendors circling for the same parking. Cables get taped and dressed, road cases go out of sight, and we are fully set and out of your photographer's frame well before doors.
Hill Country properties south of Austin run on hard music cutoffs, and outdoor sound is the part that gets policed. We confirm the exact curfew and any dB ceiling with your coordinator during planning, then build the set backward from it so the night peaks on purpose instead of getting cut mid-song. Indoor and outdoor coverage are tuned separately.
Ceremony in one spot, cocktails in another, dinner and dancing in a third is the normal shape of an evening at Hummingbird House. We cover that with a dedicated ceremony system — mics for the officiant and vows, processional and recessional cues — while the main rig is already built at the reception space, so nothing has to be torn down and carried across the property mid-event.
Our full setup — DJ, booth, and lighting — runs on standard circuits, and we spread the draw rather than stacking it on one outlet. We walk the layout with you in advance so the photo booth lands where its line will not cut across the bar or block the dance floor, and so uplighting and effects sit where they read in photos instead of blowing out the room.
