Picture this, a car ride full of people in 2020 during high school. My friend passes me the phone in the backseat and asks me to play a song, but not something crazy, just a chill vibe. I went with "No Type" from Rae Shremmurd as my choice. Everyone in the car caught the vibe and was giving me looks of approval. From there I knew that I wanted to have this feeling all the time.

2022, I was 19 years old and doing a semester of college from my hometown near Houston when I started DJing weddings. I moved to San Marcos where I eventually graduated from Texas State with a degree in Finance, but for the time being, I was just a kid trying to find my place. I started doing work for local wedding DJ companies and let me tell you, I was grinding.
Between 2023 and 2025 I probably DJ'd around 200 weddings, the typical weekend throughout college looked like 1-3 weddings every weekend, sometimes even 4 back to back. Even though it was not even close to the easiest hustle or what the typical college kid does, I just had a huge passion for music and entertaining, if you know me personally, you know that I am constantly trying to figure out ways to keep people entertained, which is typically with jokes. As I developed I figured it would be wise to increase the quality rather than quantity, so I spent some time upgrading my setup and building relationships to see if this is something I could really pursue long-term.

I started the business in early 2023, which had its fair share of names before landing on "MP Entertainment." The main goal was my thought of "How can we provide the absolute best value for the price?" I didn't care for stingy pricing or gatekeeping things that truly take an event to the next level. I wanted to bring a good time to as many people as possible and that was my only goal.
With that thought, I carved out the niche where I decided that I fitted in. I didn't want to take over the wedding industy and try to sell as much as possible, I wanted to keep it simple. I keep my advertising organic through relationships and media, I do 90% of the business functions myself, and all that helps me provide the best value. With how much goes into managing a big team and breaking the bank for advertising, the price would have to go way up, and doing things my way, lean and mean, allow me to provice a setup and service that I think is hard to match.

I love doing anything involving outdoors such as camping and beach trips, and I also really enjoy being active. I enjoy basketball (thought I'm not very good), and most weekdays I go to an MMA and Boxing gym. To nobody's surprise, I will dance all night long, so if I'm not at an event on the weekend you might find me on the dance floor at a club downtown Austin.
